Daily Scripture: Psalm 34: 1-5: “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; the humble shall hear of it and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together. I sought the Lord, and he heard me and delivered me from all my fears. They looked to Him and were radiant, and their faces were not ashamed.”

Those who smile at your good news and then turn around to mock you will be silenced.
Many times, we share our news happily with people around us without knowing their real minds. They hear good news and go to town to run you down. They smile yet their hearts are bitter.
Jealousy and envy blind them from seeing what God has done and giving him praise. They cannot conceive the magnitude of God’s blessings in your life. You will bless the Lord with all your heart and with no fear of what men will do.
Yes, your soul shall make her boast in the Lord, the humble shall hear and rejoice. You drew them close innocently but they responded with hidden bitterness.
God has heard your cries and delivered you. You will look at him and be radiant. Nothing will bring shame to your testimony.
Father, separate those with proud hearts from us and drive away those that seek to add shame and sorrow to our celebration. Fight the glory thieves in our lives, that you alone may be glorified.
