VICTORY

Daily Scripture: 2 Samuel 5: 19-20: “So David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will you deliver them into my hand?” And the Lord said to David, “Go up, for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines into your hand.” So, David went to Baal Perazim, and David defeated them there; and he said, “The Lord has broken through my enemies before me, like a breakthrough of water.” Therefore, he called the name of that place Ball Perazim.”

God who has elevated you will confirm your victory.
God has confirmed your victory. Every enemy challenging your new level is a waste of time and space, for the one who lifted you will never let you down.
Do not be deceived; promotion attracts new challengers. They know if you settle in your new position and function, you will be an instrument of God to judge their evil so they fight you before you settle down.
David had previously defeated Goliath so the Philistines knew him. Once they heard he was King they sought to kill him. If he could defeat them as a poor shepherd boy imagine what he will do as King.
He enquired and the God of his victory assured him of certain victory. He gave thanks to God saying that God had broken through his enemies like a breakthrough of water.
God will do the same for you today. Just enquire about how he wants you to handle it. Do not be afraid of that old enemy, for God’s victory is timeless and constant. His victory is eternal. You won them before in God’s name and you will win them again.
