Daily Scripture: Psalm 126: 1-2, 5-6: “When the Lord brought back the captivity of Zion, we were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, “the Lord has done great things for them… those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.”

God is overturning captivity. Chains are falling and yokes are breaking. It is liberation time.
Sometimes it feels like things will never change, especially negative or unpalatable situations that seem to drag on forever. The good times pass so fast yet, the problems and challenges refuse to pass.
God’s word today assures us of his liberation. Things will change because nothing remains the same forever. God is turning things around.
He is overturning the deep roots of poverty and lack in families and putting laughter in many mouths. He is putting a song on your tongue and soon you will sing spontaneously as you tell of his goodness.
Yes, you went out sowing in tears. You may even still be in tears not knowing it is harvest time but surely, you will laugh and sing a new song.
As surely as you sowed in tears, doubtless you shall reap and celebrate in joy. Your testimony will no longer tarry.
