PRIDE

Daily Scripture: Psalm 140: 4-5: “Keep me, O Lord, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from violent men, who hand purposed to make my steps stumble. The proud have hidden and snare from me, and cords; they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set traps for me.” Selah.

  • Thank God for the end of October. Their traps did not catch their prey. They have failed and you have escaped.
  • Pride makes men think they are invincible. They get so oppressive that it becomes like dope making them high.
  • The thing about pride is that it exalts self. It does not look kindly at anyone trying to act bigger or higher. It seeks to stop others from rising above it. Nothing they do is free. Pride seeks to keep others down so it remains the focus.
  • God hates pride, that is why he resists the pride. Pride is the sin of idolatry, self-adulation without any fear of God.
  • Many traps were set in October but they failed concerning you. Their nets remain empty. God did not approve their plans so they failed.
  • Today we enter a new month, the eleventh month.
  • God will settle you in the eleventh month. Nothing He has spoken concerning you will be delayed or destroyed. He will hasten to settle them.
  • Father, frustrate the tokens of the wicked and let them be caught by their traps. Arise, Lord, resist the proud and exalt the humble.
  • God has remembered you for good. Welcome to November.

Good morning, Restored.
