JOYFUL

Daily Scripture: Jeremiah 31: 16-17: “Thus says the Lord: “Refrain your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears; for your work shall be rewarded, says the Lord, and they shall come back from the land of the enemy. There is hope in your future, says the Lord, that your children shall come back to their border.”

  • Your work shall be rewarded. Dry your tears.
  • Generational poverty is indeed difficult to deal with. The same thing with generational captivity or bondage.
  • For as long as you can remember things have been bad for your family. No matter how hard any one of you works for the same outcome.
  • Poverty has become your identity, your definition. So much has been lost. Children are driven out of their homes, properties taken over. Tears have been like food.
  • God says dry your tears. Your case may not be so bad but you know things should be better. Dry your tears and cease from weeping. God is at work.
  • Weeping endures for a night but joy comes in the morning. Wake up, it is morning. Your dawn has broken. Victory is yours.
  • There is hope in your future for your latter will be greater than your former. Your children will return to the prosperity of the past. The price has been paid. God is in control.

Good morning, Joyful.
