BLESSED

Daily Scripture: Isaiah 61: 8-9: “For I, the Lord, love justice; I hate robbery for burnt offering; I will direct their work in truth, and will make with them an everlasting covenant. Their descendants shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people. All who see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the posterity whom the Lord has blessed.”

  • You are the posterity whom God has blessed.
  • God loves justice. If you want to please him and leave a blessing for your posterity, do the right thing. Do not try to cut corners and pacify him.
  • Some sacrifices we give to God are like robbery.
  • Many people claiming to serve God today are either robbers or people cooperating with robbery and robbers. We accept money and give praise to people whose lives do not bear fruit that befit repentance. Robbery!
  • We turn a blind eye to injustice, allowing oppression to thrive so we do not step on important toes. Robbery. God is watching.
  • Do not mortgage the blessings of your posterity by your greed. Allow the Lord to direct your work in truth. There is a way that seems right but ends in destruction.
  • Today, pray for restoration.  If anyone has mortgaged the blessings of your posterity, we reverse that evil and stand to be blessed by God.
  • Father, direct our work in truth and keep us on the path of righteousness for your name’s sake. Let your greatness in our lives bless us generationally.

Good morning, Blessed.
