RIGHTEOUSNESS

Daily Scripture: Psalm 140: 9-13: “As for the head of those who surround me, let the evil of their lips cover them; let them be cast into the fire, into deep pits, that they rise not again. Let not a slanderer be established in the earth; let evil hunt the violent man to overthrow him.” I know that the Lord will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and justice for the poor. Surely the righteous shall give thanks to your name; the upright shall dwell in your presence.”

  • It is scriptural to return the wickedness of the wicked back on their heads. The Bible tells us that what you sow is what you will reap. You cannot sow wickedness and reap goodness. If you sow the wind, you will reap the whirlwind.
  • As the year ends, review your ways. If you are constantly displeased with your outcomes, change your expressions.
  • You cannot reap what you do not sow but, you will reap what you sow. Those that have spent the year around us, troubling us, the evil on their lying and slandering lips will cover them.
  • Burning coals of judgment will fall on them. They will be cast into the fires and deep pits of disaster they plan for you. They will fall and never rise again.
  • No slanderer will be established on all the earth so check your ways. Evil will hunt the violent man like prey to overthrow him but, the Lord will maintain the cause of the righteous and uphold justice for the poor. Especially the poor in spirit.
  • The righteous will give Him thanks and dwell in His presence.

Good morning, Upright.
