HEALING

Daily Scripture: Psalm 55:12-14: “For it is not an enemy who reproaches me; then I could bear it. Nor is it one who hates me who has exalted himself against me; then I could hide from him. But it was you, a man my equal, my companion, and my acquaintance. We took sweet counsel together, and walked to the house of God in the throng.”

  • The betrayal of a friend cuts deep. People we draw close, stabbing us with the access we created. Painful betrayal. Be healed.
  • Many are walking around today wounded, bleeding. Not realizing how bad things are. A friend you walked, talked, and ate with, for no reason, they turned on you, betraying you. It hurts.
  • You ask yourself why they could do such to you. You even get bitter and resentful. It gradually affects every part of you, especially your health. Your heart suffers.
  • It would have been easier to forgive a stranger or someone casual. But, to be betrayed by someone so close?
  • You are like your Master. Jesus was betrayed with a kiss. Someone so close that he could kiss him as a gesture of love and friendship used that to mark him for capture.
  • You are not alone. God will use what they meant for evil to birth His goodwill in you but, you have to heal.
  • Choose today to open up and let God heal you thoroughly. It may not be easy but it is possible and necessary. Let God heal you until it stops hurting. Release yourself. They took your peace then, take it back now. God is doing a new thing in your life. Yield.

Good morning, Restored.
