PROSPERITY

Daily Scripture: 1 Timothy 6: 7, 9-10: “For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out… but those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men into destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”

  • Do not be desperate to get rich or you might pierce yourself with many sorrows.
  • We came empty to this world and we left empty. Profound eternal truth. No matter how you travel or what you acquire, you will go empty-handed.
  • We must bear this in mind and not put things before people or God, placing more value on the temporal and neglecting the eternal.
  • It is God that gives men the power to make wealth but many do not want to wait for God. Instead, they choose other paths that lead to sorrow.
  • When you are desperate to get rich, you are vulnerable and may even lose everything. The love of money, not money itself, is the root of all evil. Some have strayed from the faith in their quest for riches, making it seem like serving God is a function of poverty.
  • We curse that lie today and decree that as you serve the Lord, He will prosper you in every kind of prosperity. God’s blessings are without sorrow. That is how you know a man who has been blessed by God. No sorrow.
  • As the year ends do not get desperate and fall into traps. Trust God wholeheartedly for He alone is your prosperity.

Good morning, Prospered.
