• Tested in the furnace of affliction, God has tested you for his glory. You are blessed.
• The intensity of trials we go through can blind us to the fact that God is in control. We often wonder how God can be involved and watch us suffer. 
• God does not cause our suffering, sin does. Sin is a reproach. It exposes us to afflictions when we fail to abide by the word of God. 
• God’s word today says he has refined you not as silver but in the furnace of affliction. It may not have felt nice but it was to build character in you. 
• God will defer his anger for his name’s sake and his praise. He takes no pleasure in your suffering. Remember today that God will not share his glory with anything in your life. 
• Stop giving his glory to men, they only helped you because God permitted it. He saved you from that situation and He healed you from that sickness. 
• Give him the glory due to his name and never share his glory.
