POWER

Daily Scripture: Isaiah 22: 17-19: “Indeed, the Lord will throw you away violently, O mighty man, and will surely seize you. He will surely turn violently and toss you like a ball into a large country; there you shall die, and there your glorious chariots shall be the shame of your master’s house. So, I will drive you out of your office, and from your position, he will pull you down.”

God will judge your enemies and your fan power from them.
It is not easy dealing with a so-called mighty man. They act like gods and treat people like trash. They think they exist by their power so they oppress people without regard.
It is worse when wealth and power are in their hands. They revel in their wicked power to oppress. Political power to kill and destroy with impunity and brutal force to wound and maim. They forget that all power belongs to God.
The Lord is speaking to your life today from his word. He will throw that violent man away suddenly. It does not matter his office or position. The Supreme Ruler of all Creation has spoken.
He will remove him violently from his place of safety and toss him into the midst of a power structure he can’t control.
Power will fail him. He will expire in a strange place and be forgotten. God will drive him from the office and pull him down from his position. God has renounced his position.
Watch and see the mighty fall like dead wood for indeed all power belongs to God. God has taken power away from your oppressors. Oppression has lost its teeth. Hallelujah!
