FAVOUR

Daily Scripture: Psalm 27: 9-10: “Do not hide your face away from me; do not turn away your servant in anger; you have been my help; do not leave me nor forsake me, O God of my salvation. When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take care of me.”

  • Though it is painful, it is possible that your parents may not love you as they should. Fret not, God loves you and will take care of you.
  • Some families can make one feel like an orphan. An orphan is better because he knows he has no one but God. Family does not always make you feel like you belong. Some of them act like they are your real enemy.
  • It is amazing how you seem to get more love and acceptance from strangers and outsiders yet, those who should love you treat you like you are a nuisance. The heart of man is so unpredictable and even wicked.
  • Flimsy biases and ungodly influences turn the heart of the family against each other. We wound as we were wounded, we reject as we were rejected. It is human nature. Unless we learn to take our pains, wounds, and burdens to the cross, we will keep paying back what we received.
  • Jesus is the barrier against our evil tendencies. He is the wall between our past and future. The love of Christ in our hearts gives us the power to live above our humanity, embracing and being a blessing to others by choice.
  • We cut off satanic influences and influencers and take our burdens to the cross. Leave them there. That is why Jesus died.
  • Every satanic agenda against your peace is broken. God loves you, you are accepted and never rejected. His love is all you need. Your latter will be greater than your former.

Good morning, Special.
