DELIVERANCE

Daily Scripture: Haggai 1:6: “You have sown much, and bring in little; you eat, but do not have enough; you drink, but you are not filled with drink; you clothe yourselves, but no one is warm; and he who earns wages, earns wages to put into a bag with holes.”

  • Those words were spoken by Prophet Haggai but they sound so true today. Lord have mercy.
  • Things are getting harder daily for many to the point where these words are their new reality. You sow so much, make so much effort yet yield little. Even the food and drink do not seem to satisfy anymore.
  • All efforts to clothe yourself financially seem to little avail as you find yourself out in the cold with no one to help. Wages earned and money made flitter away as if on invisible wings.
  • Father, hear our voice today, have mercy on your children and redeem us from our strong enemies. Restore to us the prosperous blessings of Abraham. Put food on our tables and cover our nakedness with your righteousness.
  • Provide gainful employment for job seekers, guide our leaders right and give us the wealth of the wicked so that they may stop oppressing the poor with their ill-gotten wealth.
  • Don’t give up on us Lord. Redeem our souls from the pit and teach us your ways so that we may walk in your truth.
  • Bless the works of our hands. Let our prayer be acceptable to you today, O Lord our Redeemed.

Good morning, Delivered.
