Daily Scripture: Philippians 4: 6-7: “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

  • Being anxious causes stress and steals peace. Be joyful, be bold, ask God and trust him. Stop worrying.
  • Why do you struggle to be at peace? There is no peace in this world except the peace Jesus gives. He is our peace. The peace of the world is a counterfeit expression.
  • No matter how you try, it cannot hold back the storms that threaten to drown you. At best, it is like a broken battered dam about to break and flood the very area it was to protect.
  • There are storms everywhere in life. Financial, relational, emotional, spiritual, occultic, mental, societal and even political.
  • Each storm needs different coping mechanisms. They respond to different commands but, there is one anchor that stills all these storms individually, collectively, and absolutely. The man who walked on water and calmed the storm with his voice. The key that opens every door.
  • Let Jesus speak into that storm today. They will hear and obey his voice. Yes, they will hear him but for them to stay still you must be anchored in Jesus.
  • Submit yourself completely to him in full alignment today, and watch every storm turn to peace.

Good morning, Covered.
