ENCOURAGEMENT

Daily Scripture: Isaiah 66; 2b, 5: “But on this one will I look: on Him who is poor and is a contrite spirit, and Abi trembles at my word… Hear the word of the Lord, you who trembles at his word: Your brethren who hated you, who cast you out for my brother’s namesake, said, ‘let the Lord be glorified, that we may see your joy.’ But they shall continue to be ashamed.

The worst thing is to be poor and proud. Humble yourself and God will exalt you.
God’s word is perfect. He sees what you go through even when you feel lost and alone, abandoned and frustrated. He is there with you, He feels your pain; the betrayal, the abuse, the insults and the injury.
He partakes of it bearing your burden. He is a compassionate Father.
God will look with kindness upon the one who is poor in spirit and of a contrite heart. (Matt 5:3). God has seen how you tremble at his word, striving to obey him even at the risk of offending others and standing alone.
Friends and family become enemies because you oppose their wrong ways. They cast you out in the name of God acting all righteous, calling evil good and making good look evil. But God shall laugh at them.
God’s promise to you today is that they shall be ashamed. They that seek to destroy you for no just cause shall fail and be put to shame. Be encouraged.
