DELIVERANCE

Daily Scripture: Psalm 18: 47-48: “It is God who avenges me, and subdues the peoples under me; He delivers me from my enemies. You also lift me above those who rise against me; you have delivered me from the violent man.”

  • If we were not for the Lord, we would have been consumed by enemies that lie closer than friends. Father, deliver us from such ones.
  • How long does not always reflect how well. Sometimes, your oldest friends may be your longest tormentors. We get so sentimentally attached to yesterday’s story that we inadvertently compromise tomorrow’s glory.
  • People we trusted become our greatest undoing. We are blinded by feelings and refuse to see that our best friends are also our worst enemies. By their fruits, you will know them.
  • Do not just accept everyone around you, take time to test their motives. If you hear anything, do not ignore it or rush to conclusions. Take time to investigate, pray and confirm.
  • If the people closest to you are sponsoring the tears you cry daily, only God can help you.
  • Today, we pray for divine help and full exposure of every evil friend and wicked manipulation. No one will eat and laugh with you and then betray you. God forbid!

Good morning, Freed.
