Daily Scripture: Psalm 25: 2-3: “O my God, I trust in You; Let me not be ashamed; Let not my enemies triumph over me. Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed; let those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause.”
The Lord will not allow those who hate you for his sake to laugh at you. He will redeem you from every destruction of the enemy.
There is a secret fear of many that is never uttered. A fear that things will go very wrong and your confidence in God will be disgraced. A fear that things will be so bad that they will ask you where your God is.
Be at peace, soon they will see his power. For some that fear has become a reality, God’s word today is a reassurance.
You will not be put to shame. That plan to disgrace you will never prosper. The enemies of God in your life will never triumph over you. They will come in one way and flee seven ways in deep dread.
No one who waits on God will ever be put to shame. Most times it is people close to you that betray you the most. When envy and jealousy are your close friends, shame is not far.
Father, let all those who have betrayed and brought sorrow to your people without cause be ashamed.
Lord, let the shame they plan for your children be upon their own heads. Instead of shame you will rejoice and be celebrated.
