HOPE

Daily Scripture: Psalm 49: 5-7, 10: “Why should I fear in the days of evil, when the iniquity at my heels surrounds me? Those who trust in their wealth and boast in the multitude of their riches, none of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for Him- for he sees wise men die; likewise, the fool and the senseless person perish, and leave their wealth to others.”

  • Do not put your trust in men or riches for the arm of flesh will fail you.
  • Many live their lives daily with a potent fear of death. Some build their confidence in their wealth, boasting in themselves as if they could add a minute to their lives.
  • If wealth could save, rich men will simply buy life and the poor will die randomly but, life and death are beyond the power of our wealth.
  • God alone gives life in abundance through Jesus Christ. Knowing Him is the real measure of wealth.
  • Whatever you have, and whoever you are, humble yourself in the sight of the Lord and he will exalt you. Care for the poor and needy especially in this season.
  • Your wealth is a blessing from God for the blessing of others, not for you to store up unproductively. You cannot save yourself, so why store up wealth only to die and leave it for strangers?
  • While you have life and strength, use what God has put into your hands to help others and cause men to glorify him.
  • Start today to touch lives and your life will be divinely touched. Be a blessing this season.

Good morning, Giver.
