CHARACTER

Daily Scripture: Galatians 5:22-26: “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such, there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passion and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.”

  • Don’t get conceited and don’t provoke envy of one another. Let the love of Christ reign supreme.
  • As the year ends, it is not wise to make plans for the new year without character. Many believers who cry due to various trials prolong their difficulties by refusing to let God humble them.
  • Pride is their lifestyle. Bad character cannot be covered up by an outward display of spirituality. If you are spiritual without character, it will be your undoing.
  • As we end the year, search for your heart, screen your character and check your motives. The kingdom of God suffers violence but we are the ones violating the kingdom that is why we cannot take it by force.
  • We violate each other. We feel so entitled as believers that we label bad characters with religious titles. Many will lose their place in this new year. It will be a year of displacements and replacements for kingdom advancement.
  • Stop thinking you have made it so you rest on your oars. We are our problem and must change for a change.
  • Stop blaming others and check yourself. Pride goes before a fall. Let him that thinks he stands take heed lest he falls.

Good morning secured.
